The new 2008 Pro Model was designed with performance in mind while keeping the board easy to ride. The name says “pro” but riders of all skill levels can enjoy this design. This design allows for the rider to constantly grow their personal performance levels and push the limits of their wave riding. As with all my designs, size can be customized to your preference or we can work out a size that best fits your needs. I have been building stock boards here in Hawaii as well in the 5’6’’, 5’9’’, and 6’0’’ sizes. All my surf designs can be made in epoxy or polyester construction.

FIN SET UP ON THE PRO MODEL

The Magic 55 has been a very reliable design for more people (from small to large frame) in more diverse conditions (from light to strong winds). The wider outline in the front half of the board gives the rider easy and early planning. The overall increased outline and lower rocker line gives the rider great light wind ability but still remains manageable in strong winds. The wave performance is not as sensitive as the Pro Model, the Magic 55 has a smoother and more drawn out turn. You can see the difference on my "Video" page, "Maui 2005" I am ridding the Magic 55 and "Mexico 2007" I am on the Pro Model.

As with all of my designs I custom shape, I rely on the feedback from my customers and only supply those designs that have had great feedback in all kinds of conditions.

YT5 / YT5 Wing / YT5 Pin-The YT series

The YT5 is the surf design that started a wave riding movement and still is one of the best surfboards in small to medium sized surf. These designs are some of my original kite surf designs that still work very well in small to medium sized surf. From the feedback I get, the YT designs work best in the 4'10'' to 5'6'' size range. All my surf designs can be made in epoxy or polyester construction.

5'9'' Pro Model Balsa

This board is featured in the latest Kiteworld magazine, The Green Dreams article, and soon to be on Kiteworld TV. I will be offering this board for sale soon.

This design works well in the 100cm to 135cm size range. The T2 Small is a small, wide twin tip that gets on plane early and glides through those pesky light wind spots.

The T2 Mid Size Twin Tip is a great all around board for most riders. It is a very easy to ride twin tip while being progressive to bring riding to the next level. This design is most popular in the 130cm to 150cm size range.

The M1 is the larger mutant in the M series. This design works very well in the surf and will perform at the highest levels in freestyle riding. In addition to the traditional 6 fin format, the M1 is now available in a tri fin format which is very popular in the surf. This design is most popular in the 137 to 150 sizes.

The M2 was conceived by Will James and John Amundson. This design brings together both twin tip riders and directional riders. It looks like a twin tip but has hints of a directional. The rocker line has a straighter tail and a curvier nose. The fins are larger in the tail and smaller in the nose. The straps are offset to the tail. The concept of this design is to have a nose and a tail with the benefits that go with them but will ride like a twin tip as well. The most popular sizes are 125cm to 135cm.
